Aged 15 months in 8 to 12-year-old Bourbon Barrels with brewer’s licorice and cassia cinnamon bark, this beast swells on the palate with layers of dark cocoa and spice, atop a finely-tuned Bourbon profile. The 13.3% ABV is completely cloaked behind rich aromas of caramelized sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. With the first sip, you’ll notice each element present in a thick, chewy mouthfeel full of dark chocolate, leather, Bourbon-soaked raisins, vanilla, molasses, and a touch of smoke.
Amber in color, filled with vanilla, pear, and soft chocolate aromas. Flavors of caramel, vanilla, and dried fruit are noted in the smooth, well-aged, and complex finish.

This year’s release is a blend of 24, 18, 12, and 8-month Bourbon Barrel-Aged Dark Star in 7-12-year old Kentucky bourbon barrels.
