The 2008 Blair Athol single malt from indie bottler Carn Mor, bottled in 2021 as part of its Strictly Limited range. 47.5% ABV (95 Proof)

Tasting Notes

Nose: In addition to light fruits of sweet apricot and apple, there is also a sour note of fresh strawberry. Also trace floral aromas, along with honey and caramel after enough time to breathe.

Palate: Sweet and sour in taste. The wort is there, but it also disappears again quite quickly.

Finish: Dry, with trace notes of spice and fruit.
