"Two roads diverged in the yellow wood” and being one traveler I had to decide between the road to retirement and the really great bourbon road. And like poet Robert Frost “I took the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference”. In 2012, I built a distillery in Kentucky to craft bourbon with a “difference” by incorporating all the qualities I could imagine. I used locally grown corn, wheat, and rye to capture the terrior of Kentucky and a copper pot still to give a powerful aroma with lots of bourbon flavor. I barreled the product at 110 proof for better wood and flavor extraction. And now I am ready to share that “difference” with my friends.
